The Melissa & Doug Top & Bake Pizza Counter is a 41-piece wooden play set that lets little chefs build, bake and serve pretend pizzas just the way their customers like them. It includes a sturdy wooden counter with a built-in oven, a wooden crust, felt sauce and cheese, and wooden toppings such as pepperoni, olives, mushrooms and peppers that stick together with reusable self-stick tabs.
There is everything needed to run a busy pizzeria, including a grated cheese shaker, a wooden pizza paddle, a rolling cutter for slicing, a delivery box, a reusable menu, play money and a prep guide. Children choose toppings, bake and slice their pizza, take orders and handle the payment, building counting, sorting, storytelling, imaginative play and fine motor skills along the way. Crafted from FSC certified wood with child-safe finishes, it is a screen-free favourite for preschoolers and a wonderful gift.

Melissa & Doug was founded in 1988 by Melissa and Doug Bernstein, who started out designing wooden puzzles from a basement and a garage. Their first breakout product was a wooden farm puzzle, and wooden puzzles have stayed core to the brand ever since.
