This clever battery-powered train responds to every command from its easy-to-use handheld controller, with two forward speeds plus simple reverse and stop functions, so even little engineers can take charge of the railway.

Press the buttons for fun light and sound effects, or drive the engine directly using the buttons on its roof. Made from durable plastic with a wooden body and finished with BRIO's classic magnetic couplings, it hooks up to carriages and wagons and runs on any BRIO World wooden track (sold separately). Remote-control play like this is brilliant for building cause-and-effect understanding, hand-eye coordination and confidence. The two-piece set includes the engine and its controller, and requires 4 AA batteries (not included) - 2 for the engine and 2 for the remote.
