The Hape Fire Station is a tri-level wooden playset built for imaginative rescue play. This 13-piece set includes a fire station building with a working garage door and a fire pole running from the top floor to the ground level, plus a fire engine with an extendable ladder and hose, a rescue helicopter, a firefighter figure, a Dalmatian rescue dog, a fire hydrant and accessories such as an axe and extinguisher. Real flashing lights and an alarm sound (2 x AAA batteries required, not included) add to the drama as kids send the firefighter sliding down the pole and race the engine out to save the day. It's a hands-on way to build fine motor skills and social play, while helping children understand how community helpers keep us safe.
